Protocol for making x 10 times concentrated YNB (Yeast Nitrogen Base) solution

YNB w ammonium sulfate has 5 g/L ammonium sulfate.

10 x YNB w ammonium sulfate w amino acids

Dissolve 13.4 g YNB w (NH4)2SO4 in 200 mL water. Sterilize by autoclaving.

10 x YNB w/o ammonium sulfate

Dissolve 13.4 g YNB w/o (NH4)2SO4 in 200 mL water. Sterilize by autoclaving.

Final pH 4.5 before addition of Ammonium sulfate (5 g/liter)
Final pH 5.4 after addition of Ammonium sulfate (5 g/liter)
